Home/Approach

How an engagement actually feels.

Every engagement runs across five phase-gated stages — Discovery, Solution Design, Implementation, UAT & Training, and Sign-off & Hypercare. Each phase produces a defined set of documented deliverables that must be reviewed and approved before the next begins, giving you full visibility into scope, progress, and technical decisions at every step.

01
Phase — Discovery
1–2 weeks
Business process engineering

Processes mapped as they run, not as they're documented.

We decompose every relevant business process end-to-end — as it actually runs, not as the SOP describes. Stakeholder interviews surface undocumented logic, manual workarounds, and upstream dependencies. The output is a precise current-state model we can engineer a technical solution against, with every assumption on paper before a line of code is written.

Activities
  • Stakeholder interviews (5–8 roles)
  • Current-state process decomposition
  • SuiteScript & workflow inventory
  • Data model & schema analysis
  • Integration touchpoint mapping
  • Risk & constraint inventory
Deliverables
  • As-run process maps
  • Technical debt inventory
  • Prioritized requirements backlog
  • Effort & complexity estimates
02
Phase — Solution Design
2–4 weeks
Stakeholder alignment

Full technical spec, signed off before build.

The design phase produces a complete technical specification — data model changes, SuiteScript architecture, integration contracts, role and permission structure, and UAT acceptance criteria. Every decision is reviewed and ratified by the stakeholders who own the process, so there are no scope surprises mid-sprint and no rework at go-live.

We specify
  • Target-state process architecture
  • Data model & schema changes
  • SuiteScript module specification
  • Integration contracts & API surface
  • Role & permission architecture
  • UAT strategy & acceptance criteria
Deliverables
  • Technical solution design document
  • Sprint-level build estimates
  • Stakeholder sign-off record
  • Go-live readiness criteria
03
Phase — Implementation
2–6 months
Development & build

Configured, coded, and deployed sprint by sprint.

Implementation runs on a two-week sprint cadence with weekly demos and sandbox deployments every Friday. Every build item traces directly to a signed-off specification from Phase 02 — no scope drift, no undocumented changes. Code is written to SuiteScript 2.1 standards and peer-reviewed before it touches your environment.

Development activities
  • Sprint planning & backlog grooming
  • SuiteScript 2.1 development
  • SDF-versioned deployments
  • Integration build & endpoint testing
  • Configuration & workflow automation
  • Weekly demo & sandbox release
Deliverables
  • Tested, deployed software
  • Full SDF source repository
  • Technical documentation
  • Defect log & resolution record
04
Phase — UAT & Training
2–4 weeks
Walkthrough & validation

User acceptance, scenario by scenario.

UAT is structured against the acceptance criteria defined in Phase 02 — not ad hoc clicks through the system. Each process owner executes scripted test scenarios and records pass/fail against a defined threshold. Training sessions are role-specific and recorded, so new hires inherit the same context without a one-off knowledge transfer.

Activities
  • Scripted UAT against acceptance criteria
  • Process walkthrough per business role
  • Defect triage & resolution sprints
  • Role-specific training sessions
  • Recorded demo library
  • Go-live readiness sign-off
Deliverables
  • Signed UAT completion record
  • Role-based training materials
  • Recorded session library
  • Go / no-go decision brief
05
Phase — Sign-off & Hypercare
2–4 weeks post go-live
Go-live & stabilisation

Live in production, supported through stabilisation.

Go-live is not the end of the engagement — it's the start of stabilisation. The hypercare window keeps a senior consultant available for priority issues, configuration adjustments, and live monitoring while your team builds confidence in the new system. Formal sign-off closes the engagement once all acceptance criteria are met in production.

Hypercare coverage
  • Priority issue response (same day)
  • Production monitoring & triage
  • Configuration adjustments
  • User support & coaching
  • Runbooks & SOPs handover
  • Architecture & data flow diagrams
Sign-off package
  • Formal acceptance sign-off
  • Source repo & CI/CD handover
  • Admin & developer documentation
  • Post-go-live recommendations brief

What we stand for

Principles we won't negotiate.

P / 01

Senior-led

Every engagement has a named senior consultant with 9+ years of NetSuite experience.

P / 02

Outcome-owned

We're accountable for the result you care about, not hours burned. If we misjudged scope, that's on us.

P / 03

Transparent

Risks, trade-offs, and mistakes go in writing. You always know the state of play — no varnish.

P / 04

Handover-ready

What we build, you can own. Documented, versioned, and explained well enough to take over tomorrow.
