Describe the report you need and the assistant drafts all of it: the query, the columns and their formats, roll-ups, filters and a first layout, for you to review before saving.

Why in this order. Once the SQL is reliable, the rest of the wizard is structure the assistant can fill in, and the wizard is still where a person checks it.

Ask for a dashboard and the assistant finds the reports that already answer each part, creates the ones that are missing, and lays out the widgets and filters.

Ask a question in words and be taken to the report, already filtered, that answers it, or told plainly that no report does yet.

Why in this order. Search is only trustworthy once the catalogue is well described and the assistant understands your data, which is what the three steps before it build.
